I think I'm really getting into this NCIS fandom more. Doesn't seem as scary as, perhaps, the Jonny Quest fandom. That one had a lot of
intense people in them. If you didn't "ship" the same couple as they did, beware. At least, that's what it was a couple of years ago. I tried to get back in there again once, but it hadn't changed. There were less people, but it was still rather intimidating. And since I usually end up supporting the not-so-obvious/popular relationships, it's not a very friendly environment.
Still, I'm a bit uncertain about making anything really slashy, when it involves characters in a tv series, and not books. I have no problem making a slash fanart with Harry Potter characters, because the way I see the characters isn't how they look like in the movies. I know there are people who make photo-manipulations with Daniel Radcliffe and Tom Felton, but I keep on thinking: what if they see it? Wouldn't that freak them out? And apperently, they do, and it does:
[link]You know, if you make a slash fanart with a fictional book or cartoon/animated movie character, it's more safe. There can be several interpretations of how the character looks. It's different with tv-series, because there is a clear and definitive interpretation. McGee looks like Sean Murray and Tony looks like Michael Weatherly. So, if you make a slash fanart, it will look like them, and... if they see it, I would just die of shame. So that's why you won't see anything more slashy from me, than anything you might see on the show. More than that, just embarreses (?) me too much, thinking how much drama they'll get from it.

Songs of the week

Who is my favourite Beatle? Such a common question, which I can never answer. I like all of them, because if anything, the Beatles were a group. Each member was as important as the other. Yes, even Ringo. As John said, he was the heart of the group. So, I'm going to honour all of them, sometimes with songs but also with interviews I've seen.
First up, the quiet one. George.

My favourite songs from my favourite George Harrison album:
Any Road [link]Stuck inside a cloud [link]I cried when George died. Everyone knew he was sick, and that it wasn't going to last long, but it still hit me close. I was doing the dishes, and I had to sit down for a moment, and cry. But, I was happy there wasn't any loose ends. He was at peace, and that is a great gift. I wished John could have had that, but someone took it away from him.

Along the staircase, I dream to hear you, in a whisper quiet room..
Space for thinking, space to scream to...but the echoes sound like you.
